How to sell available art works and other objects represented in auction?

 

1 STEP

PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE OBJECT

Present some photographs of the object for its primary review and assessment by e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Photographs must be with a good resolution and brightness, the object must be illuminated well (may be done by any camera or mobile telephone for a primary assessment). Pictures are photographed from both of the sides, and the signature of the author is being photographed separately and zoomed.

DESCRIPTION OF THE OBJECT

The main necessary data of the object:

Data (if known) of author, measurement (cm), creating material, a piece of picture – material base where the picture is made (cloth, paper, wood). Also, you need to inform about the object – signatures, notices on the other side of the picture, labels and etc., purchase history if known, as well.

DOCUMENTATION OF OBJECT PURCHASE

Documentation of object purchase is unnecessary. Most art works owners have no documents that evidence the purchase (art works are inherited, purchased by parents or grandparents many time ago, presented and alike). However, object owner’s responsibility has to ensure, that the object is purchased (available) legally.

2 STEP

REVIEW AND ASSESSMENT OF THE OBJECT

Our personnel will assess the sent information within 10 working days and whether the object will be interesting, they will contact you about the further questions to discuss: object delivery for discussion (in that case, if it is difficult to deliver the object, our personnel will come to see it by the address you have named. If sale conditions will be agreed during the visit (review), the object will be applied at the auction to sell.

3 STEP

OBJECT PRICE EVALUATION

Our experts will do an assessment for the object and evaluate its market price and you will be informed about it. In that case, if the price will be agreed, we will sign the agreement about object sale in the auction.

4 STEP

INFORMATION ABOUT THE OBJECT UNTIL ITS SALE IN THE AUCTION

You can follow the object’s sale during the auction at the objects catalogue in the internet; you can download the catalogue in PDF format two weeks before the auction. As bigger the price will be offered in the auction, as bigger the sum you will get for the object.

5 STEP

OBJECT SELL AT THE AUCTION

If the object of the auction will be sold at the auction, it will be left at the administrator after the auction. When the purchaser pays for the object he has purchased, we will transfer you the money at the period provided in the agreement. In that case, if the auction’s object was not sold at the auction, you need to retake it within 1-3 days from auction performance.

 

INFORMATION ABOUT OBJECTS ACCEPTABLE AT THE AUCTION:

We accept the following objects for sale at the auction, as painting, graphic pictures, paintings, historical photographs, rare printings, books, engravings, icons, arts and crafts works (ceramics, jewelry, textile), sculptures, tapestry, silver, porcelain, glass articles, clocks, maps, medals and other collective objects (collective wine).

 

Despite the fact, that catalogues are prepared to print, we accept art works and other objects for the auction 1 – 1,5 months until the beginning of the event.
